Which internet marketing guru should you follow? Unless you have bottomless pockets to buy every course that comes out, and an entire staff to mine through the bottomless pile of content you will amass, you should do a few things, and then stick with one or two. If you DO have bottomless pockets, 48 hours in your day, and a staff, click on every link on this site, and buy everything….LOL

But no, seriously…

Identify what it is you are trying to accomplish, prioritize, and then stick with it. Do you want to make money via affiliate marketing? Do you want to create your own product? or do you know what you want to do?

Affiliate marketing basically is selling someone elses product for a commission. You can go to ClickBank and find plenty of digital products you can promote. Create a blog, site, or e-mail to you list about the products on the site, and start making money that way. You could make a themed blog or site about dogs, then search Google for “dog affiliate programs” and look through what you find. Go to some dog product sites, and search at the bottom of the sites to see if they have a “partners” or “affiliates” link. E-mail the site owner.

You could alternately create your own products and sell them. This requires a bit more effort and disipline to get started. You have to create at least some sort of product, but you’d get to keep all of the revenue you generated from it, unless of course you setup your own affiliate program, which I’d highly recommend at some point. That way, instead of just having one person and site promoting your product (you), you have an army of affiliates promoting it. You can activly search out affiliates in much the same way. Find site owners who compliment what you are offering, and ask them if they’d like to feature your product on their site, or if they’d e-mail thier lists about it, for a percentage.

There are many general internet marketing courses offering instruction on how to get up and going online. Nitro Marketing, Kevin Wilke, Dan Swanson, Matt Gill, etc. offers the Nitro Blueprint, which walks you, step by step, in getting up and going online.

The Internet Marketing Center alternately offers a product that also walks you through the process of getting up and going with the online marketing process, the Insiders Secrets to Marketing Your Business Online.

If you are extremely ADHD and want to create a product/site in a matter of hours with minimal effort, check out Russell Brunson’s Micro Continuity. This training is good, comes preloaded on a FREE MP3 player, and walks you through the entire process in a very short time.

You will want to figure out how to drive traffic and build a list once you have a site up and running.

You can literally have traffic banging at your door in a matter of minutes with PPC, you can check out some PPC (Pay Per Click) resources here.

You will need to be able to somehow accept money for your products, which you can do through PayPal, 1Shoppingcart.com , InfusionSoft, etc. PayPal is the easiest, quickest, and cheapest, but it’s more of a hassle for the buyer, and doesn’t integrate as much. 1shopping cart is a good place to start, and they have an offering that incorporates affiliates, e-mail autoresponder, and shopping cart. Infusionsoft does this as well, but at a much higher price point, so unless you are either funded, or a bit further along, you’ll probably want to forgo that from the beginning, especially if you are starting out as a hobby or part time.

Once you are up and running online, you will want to start looking at some more advanced techniques and strategies. Products such as Frank Kern’s Mass Control 2.0 and Jeff Walkers Product Launch Formula and other similar products. You can re-release your initial products using advanced techniques that you would learn in the above courses.

There are a GAZILLION resources, products, and people willing to sell, provide, and equipt you with everything you could possible imagine to succeed online. If you have any questions or guidance with any of them, feel free to drop me a line or respond to this post.

Google subcribed links give you an easy way to stay in front of your customers with Google accounts, as well as show up on the first page of the search engines without any search engine optimization, pay per click, or anything other than a few minutes time on your part.

Simply, provide an xml, rss, or tsv (tab separated values), and sign up at: http://www.google.com/coop/subscribedlinks/newsubscribedlink/

Simply input your feed, and you are basically done.

There is a plugin for Wordpress, Google Subscribed Links, which can be found here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-subscribed-links/

Install this plugin in Wordpress, then submit a link formatted like:

http://coolbubba.com/blog/feed/?coop=1

Whereas, normally the feed for wordpress would be www.coolbubba.com/blog/feed with the plugin installed, format you url with the /?coop=1 and it works great.

Niche Crusher Review – Niche Crusher from Mike Filsaime and Eric Louviere came out just a bit ago. Basically, when you begin the order process for Niche Crusher, you pick out a template, one out of about a dozen, that are “valued” at somewhere around $497 each, and you get to choose one of them for a buck. You also get an Instant CPA Affiliate Profts ebook. Then, you are given the option to order all of the templates for $97, and then downsell to half of them. You then get the option for mentoring and a few other things, and then finally you are taken to a butterfly marketing membership site. To then sign up for the affiliate program, you have to go to one shopping cart, which is entirely a pain, and there isn’t an affiliate link for Niche Crusher itself in there, just for Job Crusher and a few other Crusher things. Canceling the continuity from within the membership site is completely painless, you just click a link to cancel.

Overall, for a buck, you get a template for a website, Instant CPA Affiliate Profits ebook, and an internet marketing lesson. You can also take advantage of the mentoring if you’d like. Anyway, check out Job Crusher here.

To check out NicheCrusher go here now and sign up now.

You can also sign up for the Niche Crusher Affiliate program here.

Russell Brunson’s affiliate program, The Second Tier offers an easy to use, very clean interface and a variety of products to promote, including ones that offer the opportunity for residual income from continuity products. There is also an “affiliate training center” which is a blog, and a place to easily and quickly submit support requests.

The latest product has been a free plus shipping offer for an MP3 player containing hours of his Micro Continuity training. This is a killer deal, as he pays you $27 for each “free” MP3 player you give away, and it’s only like $9.95 shipping. GREAT deal if you ask me. I’m not sure about commissions on upsells from the product, or if that is it, but I’d say that it’s a good deal to receive a $27 commission for giving away a product. Pretty ballsy if you ask me as well, but a great sales tactic, and a good deal for all, considering his numbers. The Second Tier offers support via both phone and e-mail. I tried to call in one day to see how responsive their phone support was, and I had to call back about 6 times to get a human on the phone, BUT, it was the day after the launch of their product, so considering, I’d say this is excellent as well. They pay out delayed 30 days, so for example, you earn commissions during the month of January, they mail you a check on the first, or first business day of March. The only payout option at the time of this post is a physical check that will be mailed to you and the minimum payout amount is $50.00. Overall, from my experience with this program so far, I’d highly recommend it. Click here now to join the second tier.

Mike Filsaime’s next product is called Niche Crusher. Not sure much about it, when it will come out, what it’s going to be about (other than crushing Niches..:)). But will keep you up to date with more details soon.

Did you check out Micro Continuity today? It there are any still available you can get them here: http://bit.ly/4YHmD I ordered one, and can’t wait to get it. I’d also recommend the Instant Traffic upgrade, as it’s got some killer tools in it. Micro Continuity has produced 2400 sales in the first 2 hours, not bad…

You can also check out Job Crusher right here. You can probably see Niche Crusher as well there. Niche Crusher is basically some website templates thrown together covering a variety of different Niches with a CPA and another product thrown in. You can get monthly continuity on coaching, the membership site, Niche Crusher templates, and monthly templates. The membership site is a Butterfly Marketing powered site. It’s only $1 to sign up, so it’s not bad at all for a template. You get to pick one on the order page, and then get the option to get them all for $99 or half of them for less than that. It’s worth the buck to check out their order process and how they execute the whole thing. Go ahead and sign up here and open a word doc and start taking notes, screen shots, etc and there you have a lesson in internet marketing for a buck… Not bad, you even get a free template and a CPA book thrown in. You can very easily cancel your continuity from within the membership site area by just clicking on a link. No need to open up a support ticket for Niche Crusher.
